Static behaviour of functionally graded rotating cantilever beams using B-spline collocation technique

چکیده
The present work reports the static behaviour of functionally graded rotating beam based on Timoshenko theory, which includes effect shear deformation. principle virtual displacement is applied to derive a governing equation for (FG) beam, considering centrifugal stiffening effect. B-spline collocation technique employed solve differential and material properties are function power law distribution. index rotational speed characteristics cantilever beams has been investigated two different slenderness ratios. obtained results demonstrate deflection normal stresses gradient values. help conclude that gradation can be utilized improve functioning structures such as helicopter rotor, aircraft propellers, windmill blades etc.
